The Journey of a Thousand Miles Begins with One Step
Aladdin and Jasmine said it best when they sang "A Whole New World". I have learned so much in this class, not only from the research I've done on my own but from looking at everyone else's contributions to the class. I have discovered a whole new side of education. I have been around teachers my entire life. I work with technology every day in my professional life. I have always desired to put the two worlds together, I just didn't know how. This field of study is the answer to that pursuit. I was surprised to see how much educators have to struggle with technology. It was very eye opening to understand how instruction of all ages have to "just make due" with whatever they have access to. This course and moreover, the program have sparked within me the desire to provide a wholistic solution for educators from a technologist's perspective.
